Professional Email
A professional email address uses your own domain name instead of a generic provider — for example, info@yourdomain.com rather than yourbusiness@gmail.com. It is one of the simplest ways to make your business look established and trustworthy, and SitePack lets you set one up directly from the same Admin Portal you already use to manage your website.
This page covers creating and managing mailboxes from the Admin Portal. If you need the technical server details to connect an app like Outlook or your phone's mail app, see the Mail Server Settings guide.
Setting up a mailbox
- Go to Settings → Mail in your Admin Portal.
- Click Register Mail Account.
- Enter the prefix you want to use — the part before the "@" symbol, such as
info, support, or your own first name. - Once created, your new mailbox is immediately ready to send and receive messages under your domain name.
You can create as many mailboxes as you need for different purposes — for example, info@ for general inquiries, support@ for customer service, and individual addresses for team members.
Accessing your email
There are two ways to check and send email from your new mailbox, and you are free to use either or both:
- Webmail: SitePack includes a built-in webmail interface, so you can log in and manage your inbox from any web browser, on any device, without installing anything. See the full Webmail guide for login instructions.
- External apps: If you prefer to use a dedicated email application — such as Outlook, Gmail's app, Apple Mail, or your phone's built-in mail app — you can connect your SitePack mailbox using the server settings provided in the Mail Setup Guide.
Managing mail usage
- Account limits: The Mail settings page shows how many mailbox slots your plan includes in total, and how many you have already used, so you always know whether you have room to add another address.
- Forwarding: Where supported, you can set up forwarding rules that automatically send a copy of incoming mail to another address — useful if you want messages sent to a general address like
info@yourdomain.comto also land in a specific team member's personal inbox.
Frequently asked questions
How much does a mailbox cost?
Pricing and included storage depend on your SitePack plan — see the Email Overview guide for current details on free storage allowances and pricing for extra mailboxes or storage.
Can I use my domain email on my phone and computer at the same time?
Yes. You can access the same mailbox through webmail in a browser and simultaneously connect it to apps on your phone, tablet, or computer using the settings in the Mail Server Settings guide. All messages stay in sync across every device.
What should I use as the "prefix" when creating a mailbox?
Choose something clear and purposeful — common choices include info, contact, support, sales, or an individual team member's first name. The prefix becomes the part of the address before the "@" symbol.
Can SitePack help me set up email on my personal laptop or phone?
SitePack provides all the technical server settings you need in the Mail Server Settings guide, but direct hands-on configuration of personal devices is outside of our support scope — we recommend a local IT professional if you need hands-on help.
What happens if I run out of mailbox slots?
The Settings → Mail page shows your current usage against your plan's limit. If you need more mailboxes than your plan includes, you can add extra ones for a small additional charge.
