Social Media

Linking your social media profiles to your website makes it easy for visitors to find and follow you on the platforms where you are most active. Once connected, SitePack automatically displays the relevant icons — in your site's footer, contact sections, or other designated spots depending on your theme — so visitors never have to search for your accounts elsewhere.

Supported networks

Simply enter the full profile URL for each network you would like to connect:

  • Facebook — for example, https://facebook.com/my-company
  • X / Twitter — for example, https://twitter.com/my-company
  • Instagram — for example, https://instagram.com/my-company
  • YouTube — for example, https://youtube.com/my-company
  • Pinterest — for example, https://pinterest.com/my-company
  • TikTok — for example, https://tiktok.com/@myaccount

A "full profile URL" means the complete web address of your page or profile, exactly as it appears in your browser's address bar when you visit it — not just your username.

Updating your profiles

  1. Go to Settings → Social in your Admin Portal.
  2. Paste the full URL for each social network you want to display on your website. You do not need to fill in every field — only connect the platforms you actually use.
  3. Click Save Settings to apply the changes.

Leaving a field empty automatically removes that network's icon from your website — you never end up with a broken link or an empty, unused icon cluttering your footer.

Frequently asked questions

Do I need to fill in every social network?

No. Only enter the networks you actually use and want to promote. Any field left blank is simply hidden from your website — visitors will never see a broken or empty icon.

Where do these social media icons appear on my website?

They typically appear in your site's footer and, depending on your active theme, sometimes in other spots like a contact page or header. The exact placement is controlled by your theme's design.

Paste the complete web address (URL) of your profile page, such as https://instagram.com/my-company, rather than just your handle or username.

I updated my Instagram handle — do I need to update this setting too?

Yes. If your username or profile URL changes on any platform, update the corresponding field under Settings → Social and save again so the link on your website continues to point to the right place.

The Social Media settings support the specific networks listed above. For other platforms, you can add a custom link through your site's navigation menu or within a page's content instead.
