Team & Access

Team & Access lets you invite colleagues, employees, or clients to help manage your website without ever having to share your own personal login credentials. Each person gets their own individual account, which is both more secure and easier to keep track of than everyone using the same shared password.

Viewing team members​

The Settings → Users page lists everyone who currently has access to your site, showing each person's email address, name, and assigned role, so you always have a clear picture of who can make changes.

Inviting a new user​

  1. Go to Settings → Users.
  2. Click Create User.
  3. Enter the new user's email address, first name, and last name.
  4. Click Invite User. They will receive an email invitation prompting them to set up their own personal login — you never need to create or share a password on their behalf.

Because each teammate sets up their own credentials, you can remove or adjust their access individually later without affecting anyone else's ability to log in.

Team access is a premium feature. If it is not included in your current plan, you will see an upgrade prompt instead of the user list — see Subscription & Billing to upgrade.

Frequently asked questions​

Why should I invite team members instead of just sharing my password?​

Individual logins are more secure and give you better oversight — you can see exactly who has access, and remove a single person's access later without needing to change a shared password that everyone else would also lose.

Does the person I invite need their own SitePack account already?​

No. When you invite someone, they receive an email invitation that lets them create their own login for your site — they don't need a pre-existing account.

What happens if my plan doesn't include Team & Access?​

You will see an upgrade prompt instead of the user list on the Settings → Users page. Visit Subscription & Billing to review and upgrade your plan.

Can I see what level of access each person has?​

Yes. The Settings → Users list shows each person's assigned role alongside their name and email address, so you always know who has access and at what level.

Can I invite a client who only needs limited access?​

The role assigned to each invited user reflects the level of access they are given. Consider what a given person actually needs to do on the site before inviting them.
