App and Theme Marketplaces

The SitePack Marketplace is the central hub where SitePack website owners discover and install extensions for their site, and where partners like you get your work in front of a wide, ready-made audience. It is split into two parts: the App Marketplace and the Theme Marketplace.

App Marketplace​

The App Marketplace is where partners distribute the custom applications they've built (see Developing Apps). Whether your app is a social media integration, an advanced e-commerce tool, or something entirely different, the App Marketplace puts your work directly in front of SitePack users actively looking for new functionality for their site.

Theme Marketplace​

The Theme Marketplace is where partners showcase the beautiful, responsive themes they design (see Creating Themes). It allows any SitePack user to transform the entire look of their website in just a few clicks, simply by browsing and selecting a theme that fits their brand.

What's the difference between the App Marketplace and the Theme Marketplace?​

The App Marketplace distributes functional extensions that add new capabilities to a website. The Theme Marketplace distributes visual designs that change how a website looks. Partners can publish to either or both, depending on what they build.

How do I get my app or theme listed in the Marketplace?​

Apps are built and registered through Developing Apps, and themes are built and registered through Creating Themes. Setting either one's visibility to Public makes it discoverable in the relevant Marketplace.

Do I earn money when someone installs my app or theme from the Marketplace?​

Yes. When a SitePack user purchases your app or theme through the Marketplace, you earn a share of the sale. See Commission Platform for how this works.

Can regular SitePack users browse the Marketplace without being a partner?​

Yes. The Marketplace is built for SitePack website owners to browse and install apps and themes; becoming a partner is only necessary if you want to build and publish your own.

Does Premium Partner status affect Marketplace visibility?​

Yes. Premium Partners receive enhanced visibility in the Marketplace as one of several benefits. See Partner Dashboard for the full list of Premium Partner benefits.
